Non-rotating rope, also called multi-strand steel rope, the earliest process is 34*7, 35*7, 36*7 with the same diameter wire diameter. The rope is formed three times, while 35W*7 is formed twice. The small strands are in line contact. The wire thickness is different, the density increases, and the breaking force increases. The non-rotating specific gravity is 30% higher than the 6*19,6*37 of the same diameter, and the breaking end force directly increases by 30%. Moreover, the surface of the non-rotating rope is uniform and smooth, and the wear resistance is 30% higher than that of the ordinary 6-strand rope, so the life of the non-rotating rope is much longer than that of the 6-strand rope. 35W*7 is a more reasonable structure. Non-rotating rope is mainly used for tower crane {tower crane, tower crane} 12mm, 13mm, 14mm, and car crane, 12mm-22mm. Gantry cranes 12mm-28mm, electric hoist cranes 12mm-28mm, some are also used in ropeways, a large part is used in ports, such as Rizhao Port, Shanghai Port, Ningbo Port, Dalian Port, Tianjin Port, etc. Most of the large and small cranes are basically non-rotating ropes. 18*7 and 35W*7 each account for half, but the later period will definitely be 35W*7. After all, the cost performance is much higher than 18*7, although the unit price is a bit higher. Many users refer to non-rotating ropes as non-wound steel ropes and non-twisted steel ropes. The inner and outer layers are twisted in opposite directions to offset the rotation force. 18*7,19*7 is also called micro-rotation, semi-rotation, 35W*7 is a real non-rotating rope, and its density is higher than 18*7,19*7. However, there are very high requirements for the twisting process of the rope strands. Yangzhou Jieerte basically uses 72A, 82B, T9 materials to manufacture 35W*7 ropes, most of which use 82B, and the strength is basically 1870N/mm2, 1960N/mm2.
